The finalists for CEO of the Year at the 2024 GeekWire Awards include software veterans working on a variety of enterprise problems, from helping companies manage contracts, to better analyzing data, or conducting A/B testing.

Gaurav Oberoi is CEO and co-founder of Lexion, an Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence spinout founded in 2018. Lexion raised $20 million last year for its AI-powered contract management software. Oberoi previously helped build bill-splitting app BillMonk and also created Precision Polling, an automated survey startup later purchased by SurveyMonkey.

Ozan Unlu is CEO of Edge Delta, a Seattle startup whose software platform helps engineering and security teams analyze data. Founded in 2018, the company raised $63 million in 2022. Unlu previously spent more than five years at Microsoft and another 4 1/2 years at Sumo Logic.

Nancy Xiao, a previous Young Entrepreneur of the Year nominee, is CEO at Mason. Founded in 2015, the Seattle-based startup provides clients with custom-built hardware and software for single-purpose Android devices. Xiao was previously a product manager at Oculus VR.

Vijaye Raji is founder and CEO at Statsig, a Bellevue, Wash.-based startup that specializes in technology for A/B testing. He previously led Facebook’s engineering outpost in the Seattle area, where he was vice president of gaming and vice president of entertainment. He spent nearly 10 years at Microsoft as a principal software design engineer.

Linda Lian is CEO at Common Room, a Seattle startup whose “intelligent community growth platform” aims to help companies build a better conduit between their orgs and people in their communities. Lian is a former associate at Madrona Venture Group and senior product marketing manager at Amazon Web Services. Common Room was the 2022 GeekWire Awards Startup of the Year.

Last year’s winner was Chris Diorio, CEO of Impinj, a manufacturer of radio-frequency identification devices and software.

The GeekWire Awards recognize the top innovators and companies in Pacific Northwest technology. Finalists in this category and others were selected based on community nominations, along with input from GeekWire Awards judges. Community voting across all categories will continue until April 12, combined with feedback from judges to determine the winner in each category.
