Optimize Health, a Seattle-based startup that sells remote patient monitoring software, announced Ryan Clark as its new CEO.

Clark, based in Ottawa, Canada, was previously a senior vice president and joined the company in 2021. He replaces Todd Haedrich, who took over from co-founder Jeff LeBrun in 2021.

“I am incredibly honored to have the opportunity to help author the next chapter of the Optimize Health story as CEO,” Clark wrote on LinkedIn. “The remote care ecosystem continues to rapidly evolve, and we will relentlessly pursue a solution that delivers increased independence and improved health outcomes for patients while helping providers practice more effective and efficient medicine.”

Haedrich said on LinkedIn to “stay tuned” on his next move.

Founded in 2015, Optimize raised a $18.6 million Series A investment round in October. The company offers a remote patient monitoring and chronic care management software platform to independent practices, hospital systems, and more.

Kingston Marketing Group, a communications and marketing firm based in the Seattle region, announced the acquisition of Strike 2, a digital and creative agency based in Chicago.

As part of the deal, Strike 2 co-founders Matt Kaminsky and Jason Weinberger will become co-owners of Kingston, which serves clients such as Syndio, Rover, City of Seattle, Dutch Bros, and others.

The acquisition of Strike 2 will give Kingston the ability to offer new creative design, social media, and web development services. Kingston previously partnered with Strike 2 on client projects.

Katie Curnutte and Nancy Poznoff, former execs at Zillow Group, co-founded Kingston in 2019 and continue to lead the firm. Founding partner Whitney Curry left the firm in 2020 to join real estate startup Pacaso.
