— Seattle-based healthcare software giant Accolade appointed Kelsi McDonald Harris as chief people officer and senior vice president.

McDonald Harris joined the company in 2017 and was previously vice president of strategy and planning. She started her career at Target.

McDonald Harris will oversee employee experience for the company, which has more than 2,400 workers, including 120 in Seattle. She will replace Jennifer Hanson, who is transitioning to an advisor role.

Founded in 2007, Accolade provides healthcare delivery, navigation, and advocacy services through employers. The company went public in 2020. Its stock is down 20% over the past year. Accolade went through a round of layoffs a year ago.

Other key personnel moves across the Pacific Northwest tech industry:

Leo Olebe, previously global head of gaming at YouTube, joined Microsoft as vice president of global partnerships for Xbox. Olebe was also a global director at Facebook, working on the company’s games partnerships team.

— Seattle-based pet insurance company Trupanion hired Steve Ireland as senior vice president of conversion marketing. Ireland previously was vice president at BluePearl and Pet Partners.

— E-commerce startup Pacvue hired Abi Harmon as executive vice president. Harmon, based in Seattle, was previously CEO of Perpetua and held retail roles at Amazon and Target.

— Seattle-based e-bike company Rad Power Bikes promoted Kelsey Wolf to director of public relations. Wolf joined the company in 2020 and was previously at Zillow Group.

Sheilin Herrick, a Seattle marketing vet who held leadership roles at SHL and Karat, joined Amazon as a senior partner marketing manager for Amazon Shipping.
