— Kelly Breslin Wright is leaving her day-to-day operating role as president and chief operating officer at revenue intelligence platform company Gong.
Wright joined the company’s board in March 2021 and stepped into the president role later that year. She will rejoin the board.
Wright was an early employee at Tableau Software and spent 12 years at the Seattle-based company leading sales.
She currently also serves on the boards at Lucid and Plum, and is a former board member at Fastly, Amperity and Even.
“I truly believe Gong is the next transformational tech company of our generation,” Wright said in a LinkedIn post.
— Joseph Vincent left his position as chief legal officer of Moonstone Bank, the Washington state bank linked to failed cryptocurrency exchange FTX. Vincent joined Moonstone in May and stepped down in December, according to his LinkedIn profile, and as reported by Protos. He was previously director of regulatory and legal affairs at the State of Washington Department of Financial Institutions and is an adjunct professor of law at Seattle University.
— Nordstrom appointed Atticus Tysen, a longtime leader at financial giant Intuit, to its board of directors. Tysen joined Intuit more than two decades ago and is currently senior vice president of product development, chief information security officer, and fraud prevention officer. Former Intuit CEO Brad Smith previously was chairman of the board at Nordstrom.
— Bowen Pan is now vice president of product at Seattle community growth software startup Common Room, moving from Stripe, where he was head of product of Stripe apps and experience platform.
— Seattle-based investment management firm WestRiver Group brought on three new advisory board members for its technology practice: Ben Wolff, chairman and former CEO of Salt Lake City-based Sarcos Technology and Robotics Corp; Gavriella Schuster, former CVP at Microsoft; and Jon Roskill, chairman at Stockholm-based electric boat company X Shore and former CEO of Kirkland, Wash. based cloud startup Acumatica.
— Zymeworks, which recently landed $400 million in a deal with Jazz Pharmaceuticals, announced several key personnel moves.
- Chief medical officer Neil Josephson will leave the company. Josephson joined Zymeworks about four years ago as vice president of clinical research and has served as chief medical officer for a little more than a year. Josephson was previously an executive at Seagen and an associate professor at the University of Washington.
- Jeffrey Smith was appointed senior vice president, early-stage development. Smith, who will be based in Dublin, was formerly chief medical officer and co-founder of Seattle-area Alder BioPharmaceuticals, which was acquired by Lundbeck in 2019.
- Mark Hollywood was promoted to executive vice president and head of technical manufacturing operations and Daniel Dex was promoted to general counsel and corporate secretary.
— Tyler Mollenkopf left a position as senior product manager at Shopify and is now director of product management at the Allen Institute for Brain Science, where he had previously worked as a senior product manager.
