Watchguard Technologies, a Seattle-based cybersecurity company, announced the acquisition of CyGlass, a Massachusetts-based company that offers cloud-based threat detection and response services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1996, Watchguard sells security products and services to small-and-medium-size businesses. The company, led by CEO Prakash Panjwani, was acquired in 2006 by Francisco Partners for $151 million. It has swooped up other companies such as Percipient Networks, Datablink, and Panda Security in recent years.
