Seattle-based application security and delivery giant F5 this week laid off 120 people, the company confirmed to GeekWire.

  • The layoffs “align investments and resources to initiatives that accelerate our strategy to make hybrid and multi-cloud application security and delivery easier for our customers,” according to a statement from the company.
  • The cuts affect less than 2% of the company, which employs around 6,400 people.
  • F5 last week reported 4% revenue growth, to $2.8 billion, and GAAP earnings per share of $6.55 in its fiscal 2023.
