Happy New Year!
This year’s fireworks show at the Space Needle in Seattle welcomed a high-tech addition: drones.
For the first time, the annual show featured a drone demonstration handled by Sky Elements, a Fort Worth, Texas-based company that put on a similar show at a Seattle Mariners baseball game earlier this year.
The drones flew between 200 and 600 feet above the ground, directly north of the Space Needle. They created graphics, as you can see in the photos below on the left side.
