— Amazon appointed Ryan Redington as GM of Amazon Music, leading the tech giant’s streaming audio business. Redington, a 15-year veteran of Amazon who was previously VP of Music Industry, will report to Steve Boom, vice president of Audio, Twitch and Games. Boom joined Amazon’s senior leadership team last year and previously was the day-to-day leader of Amazon Music.

— Customer service software giant Zendesk hired Kelly Waldher as chief marketing officer. Waldher, based in the Seattle area, was most recently a vice president at Google, and also worked in marketing executive roles at Qualtrics and Microsoft, where spent more than 13 years.

— CarGurus, a Boston-area auto shopping site, added Microsoft corporate vice president Manik Gupta to its board of directors.
