PlexTrac, a Boise, Id.-based cybersecurity software startup, raised a $70 million Series B round led by Insight Partners, with participation from Madrona Venture Group, Noro-Moseley Partners, and StageDotO. PlexTrac acts as a “central communication hub” for cybersecurity teams, helping them defend and eliminate threats, as well as with penetration testing, or simulated attacks. The 4-year-old company raised $10 million in April. It’s led by founder and CEO Dan DeCloss, who previously worked with the Department of Defense and held security roles at Scentsy, Anthem, Mayo Clinic, and Veracode.
