Amazon scored four nominations Tuesday for the 94th Academy Awards, led by three stars of the film “Being the Ricardos, about “I Love Lucy” stars Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.

Amazon Studios and Amazon CEO Andy Jassy tweeted congratulations to the following nominees:

  • Nicole Kidman, Best Actress in a Leading Role, as Lucille Ball in “Being the Ricardos.”
  • Javier Bardem, Best Actor in a Leading Role, as Desi Arnaz in “Being the Ricardos.”
  • J.K. Simmons, Best Actor in a Supporting Role, as William Frawley “Being the Ricardos.”
  • Best Hair and Makeup, “Coming 2 America.”

Amazon won two Oscars last year for “The Sound of Metal.”

The Netflix drama “The Power of the Dog” led all 2022 nominees with 12 nods. Other Best Picture hopefuls include “Belfast,” “CODA,” “Don’t Look Up,” “Dune,” “Drive My Car,” “King Richard,” “Licorice Pizza,” “Nightmare Alley” and “West Side Story.”

The Oscars will air March 27 at 5 p.m. PT on ABC.
