T-Mobile is equipping the University of Washington’s CoMotion Labs with a new 5G network to help entrepreneurs build products and services using next-generation connectivity. CoMotion Labs, part of the university’s commercialization arm CoMotion, is now the first 5G-equipped hardware incubator in the Pacific Northwest. It also announced that the 5G Open Innovation Lab, a Bellevue, Wash.-based startup program backed by T-Mobile, has joined CoMotion Labs as a member, providing its companies access to the incubator space on campus.
