Amazon Music is leading an effort to expand the company into live audio, joining the likes of Clubhouse, Twitter, Facebook and Spotify, but putting its own spin on things.

That’s according to a report by Axios on Tuesday morning, citing unnamed sources. Amazon’s main focus would be on live music, according to the report, but Axios cites one source saying that talk radio and podcasts would also be part of the mix.

Amazon’s Twitch also plans to add new live audio features, Axios reports.

It’s part of a larger boom in social audio that was sparked by the early buzz around the launch of Clubhouse. Amazon Music and the Amazon-owned Audible audiobook company expanded into podcasts last year. The company also acquired the Wondery podcast production studio.
