Seattle-based recipe and meal-planning service Relish is boosting its food-preparation help with the launch of Relish+, a membership plan designed to make it easier to figure out what’s for dinner.

Relish+ subscribers can access content created by top food bloggers as well as a growing library of more than 100 pre-planned meal plans. Users can customize plans by changing serving size and swapping recipes; create and save personal meal plans; drag and drop favorite recipes into a personalized calendar; and print a consolidated grocery list.

The memberships start at $3.75 per month for a 12-month membership. There are also three-month and six-month membership plans available starting at $4.95 per month.

Relish+ relies on recipes from bloggers and websites including Simply Recipes, Skinnytaste, Diethood, Cookie & Kate, Well Plated, Oh Sweet Basil, Serious Eats, and more. Meal plans are published around themes such as “Quick & Healthy,” “30-Minute Meals” and more.

Shoppers can grab their own groceries, or use services integrated with Relish+ such as Amazon Fresh, Instacart, Walmart, Shipt, Kroger and more.

The company is banking on increased interest around food preparation at home spurred by lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic and says that Relish+ is a more affordable alternative to such meal-kit services as Blue Apron and HelloFresh.

Relish is part of the food technology platform Fexy, a startup founded in 2014 by husband and wife team Lisa and Cliff Sharples. The company sold off two other food-related web properties, Serious Eats and Simply Recipes, last fall to IAC-owned Dotdash.
