Microsoft for Startups announced new milestones and offerings to companies participating in the program designed to support B2B startups.
- The program is now providing access to GitHub Enterprise and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Microsoft said it the program is “on pace to close more than $1 billion in sales opportunities for startups through the program’s co-sell offering” over the next year.
- Previously known as BizSpark, Microsoft for Startups is a way for the tech giant to get smaller companies into its ecosystem of cloud services. Participating companies receive $120,000 in Azure credits and other benefits. Amazon Web Services offers similar programs.
- Microsoft also runs a venture fund called M12 to invest in early-stage B2B startups; a ScaleUp program for later-stage startups; and operates Microsoft Reactor physical spaces.
