Do you know a person, company or organization worthy of a GeekWire Award? Now is your chance to nominate them for recognition at our annual celebration of Pacific Northwest technology and innovation, taking place March 26 in Seattle.
We’re accepting nominations starting today in more than a dozen categories for the 2020 GeekWire Awards. Categories include old standbys such as Startup of the Year and Next Tech Titan, and newer additions such as the Geeks Give Back award, Hardware/Gadget of the Year, and Health Innovation of the Year. The awards this year also feature two CEO of the Year categories, one for “big tech” companies with employees of more than 200 employees, and another for startups with fewer than 200 employees.
We’ll take nominations through Jan. 29. GeekWire readers can nominate worthy candidates based or headquartered in the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Idaho, Washington and British Columbia). After the nomination process concludes, we’ll work with our judging panel to winnow our list to five nominees in each category.
Then, beginning Feb. 11, we’ll start community voting on GeekWire, with readers selecting the very best in each of the categories. The winners will be revealed March 26 at the GeekWire Awards at MoPop.
The GeekWire Awards honor the best in Pacific Northwest tech, and GeekWire’s events are a fun and great way to hang out with colleagues and friends, and meet fellow geeks. Early bird tickets for the 2020 GeekWire Awards are on sale now and going fast.
But first things first, now is your time to start the nomination process. Nominate those who you think are worthy — choosing entrepreneurs, products and companies that truly are changing the way we live, work and play.
