Check out the five finalists in the “Geekiest Office Space” category in the 2020 GeekWire Awards.

Create33

From the finalist: “We’re hoping that Create33 becomes part of that nexus where there’s just a constant flow of folks coming in and out, drinking our coffee, meeting each other, having a good time, and really thinking about the smart ways of growing.”

Doxo

From the finalist: “From the second you walk into the office, you know that doxo is different. From the 8th floor direct views of ferries coming and going on the Seattle waterfront to the open and filled kitchen area to friendly greeting from a few happy dogs to almost every inch of free wall space covered with large screen monitors showing every employees’ transparent data on how we’re disrupting the payments industry, we provide an environment where geeks can have their data and their good working environment too. We are a data driven company, and we live it every day.”

Highspot

From the finalist: “Our office supports self-care – from wellness rooms to a plethora of snacks, from cozy nooks complete with blankets to booths with grand views of the Puget Sound. With our company values literally painted on the walls, we’re reminded every day that we’re here to invent the future – and enjoy the ride.

Rover

Rover has moved! From the nomination: “The new headquarters are unique in the fact that the office is customized to be fully dog friendly, while meeting needs of the employees.  In the new space, we created a variety of workspace solutions, including conference rooms, huddle rooms, and flexible working areas. Not to mention, Rover now has a beautiful roof deck with dog friendly features providing both dogs and staff a get-away.”

Sonos

From the finalist: “The office reflects who Sonos is at its core, a company that loves music. The office is designed to allow staff to do their best work, whether that be by blasting Pearl Jam in their zone or setting up in the ‘living room’ to test products and sound quality. With a variety of perks included in the office, like kombucha on tap, meeting rooms named after local artists, like jazz musician, Kenny G, the Sonos office eats, sleeps, and breaths music.”
