Company background: MontyCloud helps customers manage and monitor their cloud services, automate maintenance tasks, and manage governance, compliance, and provisioning. The startup currently supports Amazon Web Services (AWS) and plans to add Microsoft Azure and other cloud platforms in the near future.

Cloud veterans Venkat Krishnamachari, Kannan Parthasarathy and Venkat Hari founded MontyCloud last year. They have experience working at companies including Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, and others. The company splits its operations between Seattle and Bangalore.

CEO Perspective: “As adoption of cloud services grows, customers are faced with growing complexity in managing their applications across cloud platforms, regions, and accounts,” CEO Venkat Krishnamachari said in a statement. “MontyCloud helps customers efficiently manage their cloud-based applications providing policy-based management and governance consistently across all of their cloud environments.”

Krishnamachari honed his cloud expertise at AWS as well as Microsoft, where he deployed Azure in Asian countries.
