He hasn’t bought a franchise yet, but Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos rubbed shoulders with the NFL’s elite over the weekend as he took in the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s class of 2019 enshrinement ceremony in Canton, Ohio.

According to reports, Bezos joined girlfriend Lauren Sanchez at Saturday’s event to cheer on her ex, former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez. Sanchez and Gonzalez share a son, Nikko, 18.

Larry Brown Sports reported that Bezos sat in a section with Gonzalez’s family and friends. A tweeted image showed the world’s richest person seated next to Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, who played five seasons with Gonzalez.

Bezos and his ex wife Mackenzie Bezos announced they were splitting in January after 25 years of marriage. The divorce was finalized in April.

Bezos and Sanchez were the subject of tabloid reports in the early going, and Bezos accused the National Enquirer of extortion after it exposed the relationship and allegedly threatened to publish text messages and images shared between the couple.

Page Six reported last month that Bezos and Sanchez were “flaunting their love” in a public way by stepping out together for another sporting event — the Wimbledon tennis tournament in London.

Bezos has been mentioned as a hopeful suitor should the Seattle Seahawks ever come up for sale, in the wake of longtime owner Paul Allen’s death. The NFL has already partnered with Amazon Prime Video for the streaming rights to “Thursday Night Football” games.
