Startups want to do all the driving, select your groceries, bring you your takeout, walk your dog, fold your laundry and so much more. Now here comes another one to cut your grass.

Lawn Love — the Uber for professional lawn care services — has launched in Washington state with the purpose of helping users easily schedule, review and pay for various types of yard work via a mobile app or the company’s website.

Started in 2014, Lawn Love says that is has completed more than half a million jobs across 120 cities in the United States by partnering with more than 20,000 independent lawn care contractors. The company says in a news release that it uses satellite imaging software to review a property and generate a quote for services in less than two minutes.

“Traditionally consumers have had to wait for a lawn care worker to physically come to their property, offer a quote, and schedule the service,” founder and CEO Jeremy Yamaguchi said. “It can take weeks to get the job done after initial contact was made. We’re excited to be bringing modern lawn care to Washington residents.”

Lawn Love, based in Southern California with 150 employees, has partnered with small lawn care businesses across Washington and will provide them with technology that transforms scheduling, job routing and payment to help streamline operations. Each independent contractor is screened to assess their level of lawn care experience.

Lawn Love users can schedule services including lawn mowing, weeding, aeration and gutter clearing as well as snow removal and holiday light installation.
