Our biggest technical conference of the year — the GeekWire Cloud Summit — is taking place Wednesday.  Here’s everything you need to know if you’ll be joining.

Date and Time: June 5, 2019, from 7:45 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Parking: Paid parking is available at Meydenbauer Center (Parking for 8-10 hours costs $17).We encourage you to bus, bike, carpool or use other alternative transportation.

Can I still buy tickets? Yes, if you’ve not yet purchased your tickets or have colleagues that would like to attend the Cloud Summit — featuring fireside chats with Slack co-founder and CTO Cal Henderson, Microsoft CTO Kevin Scott, Amazon Web Services S3 VP Mai-Lan Tomsen Bukovec and others— go here to reserve your spot.

Do I need to bring my printed tickets? No. If you’ve purchased tickets, just pick up your pass at registration, sponsored by Avalara, located in the main lobby of Meydenbauer Center. Registration will open at 7:45 a.m.

What should I expect? An independent cloud computing conference curated by GeekWire’s editorial team. This full-day event includes main stage keynotes, deep technical sessions in three breakout areas and an opportunity to learn insights from those who’ve been in the trenches. Agenda: Full agenda is available on the event site in the agenda tab and in the GeekWire Cloud Summit App. Attendees will have the option to attend sessions among four focus areas:

  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, presented by Tableau
  • DevOps, presented by F5
  • Cloud Migration
  • Business Sessions

Note: These sessions are first come, first-served in terms of securing a seat.

Networking Reception: Join us in the Exhibitor Hall (Hall A) immediately following the program for a drink and light appetizers while networking with fellow conference attendees, exhibitors and speakers.

Charging Lounge: Recharge your brain or your phone in the charging lounge, presented by Open Square, located in the Exhibitor Hall throughout the day.

Wi-Fi: Free Wi-Fi will be available throughout the Cloud Summit thanks to Wi-Fi sponsor Wave Business. Network is WaveWifi, password is 19Cloud. Power also will be available at select tables during the event.

Food & Drink: No need to search for your own meal — we’ve got you covered. Light breakfast will be served in the morning, and boxed lunches will be available to all attendees. We also encourage attendees to check out the sponsored lunch talk with Chris Emura, Executive Director, Engineering at Vulcan. We’ve also sprinkled coffee and beverage breaks throughout the day to keep the energy flowing.
