“I know death. He’s got many faces. I look forward to seeing this one.” That’s Arya Stark opening the new trailer for HBO’s eighth and final season of the hit fantasy series “Game of Thrones.” Fans are certainly looking forward to seeing it, and there will surely be plenty of death.
Tuesday’s release of the 2-minute trailer teases the battles that are looming large in Westeros. Along with Arya, we get glimpses of Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, Cersei Lannister, Tyrion Lannister, Jaime Lannister, Brienne of Tarth, Grey Worm, Jorah Mormont and … DRAGONS.
Shots of Daenerys’ beloved dragons swooping across the landscape and breathing fire — hopefully in the direction of White Walkers — has left us as wide-eyed as Sansa and Arya.
April 14 can’t come quick enough.
