Whether it’s newly minted unicorns landing massive late-stage rounds or small teams just emerging from stealth mode, there are a lot of Pacific Northwest startups raising funding.
See the list: Recent startup funding deals in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest
Of course, this is not a surprise if you read GeekWire on a regular basis, but now there’s a new resource to track these deals. GeekWire just launched a list of startup funding deals in Seattle and the broader Pacific Northwest, collecting data from our regular reporting. The page shows which companies are raising money, from which investors, and at what stage of the startup funding process.
It also reveals interesting trends. The list is sortable by largest deals, lead investors, and other criteria. For example, you can sort the list by deal size to see the top startup funding deals we’ve reported on over the past year. We’ll be adding more deals from the archive over time, and updating the list regularly with new deals.
In just the past week, we’ve added deals for startups including Medcurity; Ride Report; OpenSesame; Tignis; EndoGastric Solutions; and others.
At the bottom of the list, you’ll find a chart with month-by-month deal totals. We’ll be updating this chart and adding more over time, and reporting on the data in posts on GeekWire.
We’d love to hear from you if we’re missing any fundings, or if you know of an upcoming deal that we should be tracking. Please send us an email at tips@geekwire.com.
In some ways, this is a return to our roots. GeekWire co-founder John Cook was known for maintaining a similar list nearly two decades ago as a reporter at the Seattle P-I newspaper who covered startups and venture capital. Shout-out to T.A. McCann and Ben Gilbert at Pioneer Square Labs for the inspiration to revive this feature.
We love these kinds of resources, and hope you find them valuable. Be sure to check out our other startup resources, including:
