Artificial intelligence is already changing the way we listen to music, and now technology is making a grab for the awards.

Amazon’s voice assistant Alexa notched another first Thursday night, taking the iHeartRadio Game Changer Tech Award, presented in honor of the most innovative use of technology to bring fans closer to music they love.

The award was presented by radio personality Bobby Bones and country music legend Garth Brooks during the iHeartRadio Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Alexa — dressed in a black Amazon Echo gown — accepted like so:

“It feels electric. I couldn’t have done this without my fans, especially all you ceiling and bathroom fans out there. And a big shout out to Wi-Fi for always supporting me. Without you, I’d be speechless.”

Brooks was among the other honorees as he was named Artist of the Decade. The Alexa stunt ended, of course, with the voice AI doing her job and saying, “Getting Garth Brooks on iHeartRadio.”
