Bye bye, Bieber. Take it away, Alexa?

Amazon’s voice assistant has demonstrated her singing chops in the past, but this time the AI is teaming on the remix of a chart-topping single, displacing one pop star and doing a duet with another.

The Ed Sheeran hit “I Don’t Care,” featuring Justin Bieber, has been reworked to feature Alexa, the AI found in Amazon’s Echo and other devices. The original song is currently No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. Sheeran’s new album “No. 6 Collaborations Project” features such artists as Cardi B, Chance the Rapper and Bruno Mars.

To play the promotional song, users can simply ask Alexa to duet with Sheeran.

It’s up to you to decide whether hearing Alexa sing such things as “When I’m with my baby, yeah” and “ooh ooh ooh” in her robotic voice is more appealing than when Bieber does it.

But there’s something kind of endearing (ok, creepy?) when Alexa sings, “You’re making me feel like I’m loved by somebody.”
