More than 800 innovators, entrepreneurs and other tech leaders will join us Thursday night for the GeekWire Awards, the annual awards ceremony where we recognize the very best of the Pacific Northwest tech community. Below is everything you need to know for this fun evening, which recognizes more than 50 finalists across a dozen categories such as Startup of the Year; Next Tech Titan and Health Innovation of the Year.

A handful of tickets remain, so if you are not registered, make sure to go here to purchase tickets before we sell out.

Here are the key details to know for those who’ve secured tickets.

When: Thursday, May 2, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

WhereMuseum of Pop Culture (formerly EMP), 325 5th Avenue N, Seattle, WA.

Attire: It’s Seattle. Come dressed for business, fun or intergalactic battle — the dress code is completely flexible.

Parking: Rockstar street parking and pay lots surround MoPop and Seattle Center. There is also a pay lot next to MoPop at 5th Avenue N and Harrison Street. Get there early! We’re expecting a packed house.

Do I need to bring my printed tickets? No. If you’ve registered, our friendly event staff will have your name on file, and provide you entry to the event.

What if I need to transfer a ticket? No problem! Refunds are no longer available but we can transfer your ticket. Please contact us ASAP at events@geekwire.com with the name of the new attendee or we can handle the transfer on site.

Do I need ID to enter? Yes. This is a 21+ event, and all guests will be asked for valid ID.

Additional Tickets: A few tickets remain, so if you have friends or colleagues who want to join the fun, go here to buy tickets. If you can’t join us on Thursday night, we hope you can attend the GeekWire Cloud Summit on June 5th in Bellevue.

Seating: There is limited seating available for finalists, members and sponsors. No tables, or assigned seating. We encourage you to network and mingle with other guests in this party atmosphere, but we also hope you’ll limit conversations during the awards’ program. Wear comfortable shoes as guests stand during the program.

Program schedule: Doors will open at 7 p.m. The Awards program — the Oscars of the Northwest tech scene — will begin at 8:10 p.m., revealing the winners of the 2019 GeekWire Awards in 12 categories.

Food and drink? Yes and yes. Appetizers will be heavy. No assigned tables, just tasty buffets.

Exhibits: All of the MoPop exhibits will be open to attendees, including the new Prince and Guitar Gallery exhibits.

Who are the finalists: Check out all of the finalists in 11 categories — including Next Tech Titan, Geekiest Office Space and Startup of the Year — here. All finalists were nominated by the tech community and selected with the help of our Super and Galactic Geek members, a panel of more than two dozen industry leaders from across the Pacific Northwest. Then, it was all up to you! GeekWire readers voted to select the winners, with thousands of votes cast across the 11 categories.
