REDMOND — It’s tax day in the United States, and former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is hosting a first-of-its-kind “shareholder meeting” for American taxpayers as a live event this morning in conjunction with his USAFacts nonprofit.

We’re in Redmond for the event, which started at 10 a.m. Pacific, and 1 p.m. Eastern. You can follow along with the live stream below, or watch and ask questions via the Facebook Event Page.

Interview: Why former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is holding a ‘shareholder meeting’ for America

Ballmer started the organization in an effort to provide American citizens with the type of information about the government that an investor would have about a company. USAFacts this morning released its second annual report on the U.S. government, along with a 10-K filing, and the shareholder meeting is a new addition to the lineup.
