Vancouver, Wash.-based RealWear this week announced a $17 million Series A investment round led by Columbia Ventures Corporation. The company’s $2,000 HMT-1 voice-controlled augmented reality device is worn by industrial workers and provides remote video calling, document navigation, guided workflow, mobile forms and data visualization. RealWear has shipped units to more than 200 customers.
