News Brief: Streaming giant Netflix went down on Monday afternoon across the globe. “We are aware of members having trouble streaming on all devices. We are investigating the issue and appreciate your patience,” the company tweeted at 2:57 p.m P.T. Rob Toledo, editor-in-chief of streaming news site Exstreamist, called it the “biggest outage I’ve ever seen.” We’ll update this post as we learn more. Update: Netflix fixed the issues at 4 p.m. PT. It’s unclear what caused the outage.
As usual, the outage caused some of the 125 million Netflix members to voice their frustration on Twitter.
