Our next live GeekWire podcast event, this Wednesday evening, Sept. 12 in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, will feature two entrepreneurs who each emerged victorious on their respective episodes of GeekWire’s Elevator Pitch video series.

We’ll get an inside look at the state of the Seattle-area startup world from Kwame Boler, CEO and co-founder at NEU, the vacation rental cleaning startup; and Cassie Wallender, the co-founder and chief product officer at Invio, an enterprise software startup that helps speed up clinical trials at biotech and pharmaceutical companies.

Of course, we’ll also ask them to reprise their elevator pitches, and we’ll preview the next stage in the Elevator Pitch competition, which culminates on stage at the GeekWire Summit in early October.

You can join us in the audience for a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the podcast recording, plus a chance to be on the show yourself during the audience Q&A.

This special live recording will take place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at the Ballard NeighborHub (5601 22nd Ave NW), right across from the Ballard branch of the Seattle Public Library. Sign up for tickets here. Registration is free, but space is limited, so only sign up if you plan to attend, and email us at events@geekwire.com if your plans change.

Thanks to event sponsor Columbia Bank. See you Wednesday evening in Seattle!
