The up-and-coming ACE Comic Con will drop the hammer next week when it shows up in Seattle for the first time, boasting a lineup of film stars that includes “Thor” superhero Chris Hemsworth.

ACE is the brainchild of Gareb Shamus, the founder of Wizard Entertainment, who previously told GeekWire that the Pacific Northwest is a vibrant market where he has run events in the past and had a lot of success.

In addition to Hemsworth, the event, which runs June 22-24 at the WaMu Theater and CenturyLink Field Event Center, will also feature Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Grant Gustin (The Flash), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Paul Bettany (Vision) and more actors and stars from World Wrestling Entertainment, as well.

ACE caters primarily to fans who looking for photo-ops, autographs and celebrity-oriented programming. Previous ACE Comic Cons have been held in Long Island, N.Y., in December, and Glendale, Ariz., in January. Chris Evans (Captain America) and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) were among the big superhero film stars at those conventions.

Seattle has long been home to the Emerald City Comic Con, one of the largest such conventions in the country, which attracted 95,000 attendees during its run in March. ECCC does not make celebrity guests a main focus.

Beyond the stars, ACE will also feature content creators, cosplay, vendors and exhibitors. Get ticket information on the ACE website.
