Girls are strong, brave and know how to dream really big. That’s the message from Melinda Gates in a cute new video she posted on Instagram along with some help from a pair of Muppets.
Joined by “Sesame Street’s” Raya and Zari, Gates posted to mark the “International Day of the Girl” on Thursday, an official observance declared by the United Nations.
A leading advocate for girls and women in science, technology, engineering and math, Gates asked her new friends if they knew what girls can do. “They can do anything!” she said.
“I dream of being a computer scientist and using technology to change the world,” Zari said.
“I’m going to be a famous doctor who cures diseases,” Raya added.
