On April 23, Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood will become the mecca for the second annual Women In Tech Regatta, a week-long event that aims to foster a community of mentors, peers and resources for women in Seattle’s tech world.

The event is inclusive of all genders, areas of expertise and career levels and will feature educational workshops, meetups and talks all about tech.

The regatta has 30 different break out events across the city that are organized around five ports, or themes: Tech Mavens (keeping you relevant in tech); Inclusive Culture (allyship); Leadership (CEOs and startups); All about YOU (build your story); and Career Acumen (building relationships).

The week is also a great chance to see some of the city: Each event will take place in a location around the South Lake Union neighborhood, from the campus of Northeastern University to the offices of companies like Expedia, Facebook and Juno Therapeutics.

Events start the evening of Monday, April 23, and run through Friday, April 27. See the full event lineup and ticket options here.

That’s one of the highlights from our GeekWire community calendar, the spot for geek and tech events in Seattle and the greater Pacific Northwest. See the full calendar here, submit your event here and keep reading for more suggested events over the next few weeks.
