It’s only taken eleven seasons, but Leonard and Sheldon may finally get to meet Bill Gates.

Warner Bros. and CBS, the studio and network behind the series The Big Bang Theory, revealed today that Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates will guest star in an upcoming episode of the television comedy next month. Details are sparse, but viewers are promised that, “When Penny (series star Kaley Cuoco) hosts Bill Gates at work, the guys do everything in their power to meet him.”

We can only imagine the geekery and social awkwardness that ensues.

Penny, for those who aren’t glued to the screen, is the long-time neighbor of fictional Caltech physicists Sheldon Cooper and Leonard Hofstadter (and, spoiler alert, Penny eventually becomes Leonard’s spouse).

Geeky guest stars are nothing new on The Big Bang Theory. Astronaut Buzz Aldrin, entrepreneur Elon Musk, physicists Neal deGrasse Tyson and Steven Hawking, and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak have all appeared on the show since its debut in 2007. But this is a first for a Microsoft co-founder.

What Gates will do is undisclosed, and so is the actual air date of his episode other than it will appear “later in March.” The series returns with new episodes starting next Thursday, March 1.
