UPDATE, 1 p.m.: AT&T representatives tell GeekWire the company has restored service in Seattle. The outage was a result of a “fiber cut in our service provider’s network,” the company said.
Original story below
AT&T appears to be experiencing a major outage in the Seattle area, with pockets of disruption in other West Coast cities.
Complaints of outages began early Friday morning, and AT&T’s customer service Twitter account has been going back and forth with customers about the issues.
We’ve reached out to AT&T for further details and will update this post if we hear back.
