Digital Reality Gaming is targeting gamers with a virtual reality shooter competition that it is hosting at its location at Commons Mall in Federal Way, Wash., south of Seattle, on Aug. 20.

The tournament will feature competition on the Omni VR treadmill, with players competing in “TRAVR: Training Ops,” a time-trial shooter game developed by Virtuix Studios. According to a YouTube description of the game, players compete for the top score in 10 varied levels by completing each level’s shooting course as quickly and accurately as possible.

The tournament will run from noon to 4:30 p.m., with final at 5 p.m. There is a $5 buy-in, and competitors will be awarded prizes.

Digital Reality Gaming opened in the mall in June and is owned by Don Tilley, Michelle Tilley and Hanjin Kim. It’s billed as the only VR-game-playing store in a mall in Washington state. Customers can play a variety of VR games suited for all ages.

The mall is located at 1928 S. Commons in Federal Way, about a 30-minute drive from Seattle.
