Uber today announced a partnership with AEG, one of the top global sports and live entertainment companies. The ride-hailing giant will now be an “official” transportation partner at 27 of AEG’s properties, including The O2 in London, and the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The deal allows Uber to establish designated pickup and dropoff points at each venue. It will also offer “in-venue perks” for fans and other “exclusive promotions.” The company will receive digital and traditional in-venue signage as part of the deal.

There will be extra perks for LA Kings fans, who will receive special offers, invitation to a driver incentive program, and a “King of the Month” promotion that awards Uber drivers during games.

Uber has set up similar deals with individual sports teams; this partnership is noteworthy given AEG’s wide footprint across the globe.
