We’ll be kicking things off at 10 a.m. Tuesday with a discussion about how telehealth services are changing the way patients interact with doctors and other care providers. Long oversees in-house innovations at Providence, including new approaches to direct-to-consumer telehealth, and also works with Providence Venture Fund portfolio companies to develop and test their health tech products.

GeekWire editor Todd Bishop and I will be leading the discussion. People who tune into the Facebook Live stream will also have a chance to submit their own questions and thoughts for the discussion.

GeekWire’s Health Tech Podcast, sponsored by Providence St. Joseph Health’s Digital & Innovation Team, tells the stories of technology innovators and scientists pushing boundaries with new approaches and fresh ideas in digital health and wellness. Check out the full podcast archive, including our latest episode about the creator of a DIY open-source artificial pancreas, which was featured on the Reddit home page.
