Microsoft’s newest Halo game is almost here.

Halo Wars 2, a new real-time strategy game developed by Microsoft’s 343 Industries for Xbox One and PC, debuts this Tuesday (or tomorrow from Ultimate Edition owners).

To help drum up attention for the game, Microsoft is hosting a launch party at 343 Industries’ headquarters near Seattle. You can watch the live-stream on Xbox One, Beam, Twitch, Facebook Live, and YouTube — it kicks off at 4 p.m. PT Thursday and features interviews with the 343 team.

Halo Wars 2 is the sequel the original Halo Wars game that debuted in 2009. It features both single player campaign and multiplayer game modes, along with a new “Blitz” mode which utilizes card decks.

Here’s a product description from Microsoft:

In this long-awaited sequel to the acclaimed “Halo Wars,” a new enemy threatens the Halo universe and the only thing standing between Armageddon and humanity is the brave crew on board the Spirit of Fire. “Halo Wars 2” returns fans worldwide to the role of commander throughout an incredible campaign featuring the biggest battles in Halo history. In addition to the epic campaign, “Halo Wars 2” comes packed with competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes built specifically for a wide range of new and veteran gamers.

Early reviews are positive; Polygon gave it 8 out of 10. “It doesn’t move the RTS genre forward,” wrote Polygon’s Arthur Gies. “But it does make for an accessible RTS that doesn’t feel stupid in the process, and it serves as a reminder of how well Halo’s world and fiction lends itself to spaces outside of the first person shooter, even if it can’t quite shake its franchise avoidance of meaningful denouement.”

Microsoft’s last Halo title was Halo 5, which launched in October 2015 and tallied $400 million in first-week sales. It is also working with Steven Spielberg on a Halo TV show. The Halo franchise has sold more than 70 million copies worldwide.
