There’s a new (but familiar) crew at the controls of the Millennium Falcon.

As cameras began rolling this week for the Star Wars spinoff that tells the story of a young Han Solo, cast and crew gathered in the cockpit of the smuggler’s famous ship to pose for a photo.

Actor Alden Ehrenreich is front and center as the main character. StarWars.com announced that principal photography on the untitled film officially began Monday at Pinewood Studios in London.

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are co-directors on the movie, which reveals details of Solo’s life and adventures before “Star Wars: A New Hope.” Along for the ride are Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke of “Game of Thrones” fame, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Thandie Newton, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Joonas Suotamo suits up as the sidekick Chewbacca.

“Watching such inspired people from all over the world, with such unique voices, come together for the sole purpose of making art, is nothing short of miraculous,” Lord and Miller said. “We can’t think of anything funny to say, because we just feel really moved, and really lucky.”

The film is due in theaters on May 25, 2018.
