President Donald Trump’s executive order temporarily banning travel of people from a handful of predominantly Muslim countries faced another legal defeat Thursday. A federal appeals court in Richmond, Va. refused to reinstate the travel ban in Trump’s revised executive order, saying it was motivated by religious animus. Both of the president’s attempts to instate a temporary ban have been challenged in courts across the country, including Washington state. The issue will likely be appealed to the Supreme Court.
