Referencing The Strip in Las Vegas has always had as much to do with the removal of clothing as it has with the city’s famed boulevard. At least that’s what we hear. Now comes news that Vegas will further solidify its reputation as Sin City as hotels there will begin to offer virtual reality porn to guests.
The reality porn company VR Bangers is teaming with headset maker AuraVisor to bring a more technologically savvy version of adult movies to Vegas visitors.
According to a news release from VR bangers, interested parties can pay $19.99 on a credit card for what’s being called the VR Bangers Hotel Experience. A wireless headset will be pre-loaded with VR Banger’s immersive porn content and will put users in a virtual hotel room that resembles the one in which they’re staying.
The virtual knock at your door is room service gone wild, it seems.
“Choose a girl or guy of your choice and see your hotel room replicated in the VR headset, making the experience much more realistic,” the news release said. “Next you will hear a knock on the door — in the virtual reality world — and the girl or guy will come into your room in order to enjoy an erotic or sex experience with the viewer.”
The AuraVisor headset, which was successfully funded on Kickstarter, doesn’t need to connect to a computer or smartphone. It has a 5-inch 1080p display and a 100-degree field of view. VR Bangers offers its online platform on all kinds of devices including iOS and Android phones, the Oculus Rift, desktop computers, Samsung Gear, and many others, the company said.
The two companies hope the Las Vegas hotels trial leads to a wider roll-out as VR becomes a more mainstream entertainment option.
