From the comfort of the couch in front of the TV inside wherever you call home now, Trulia is making it easier to shop for a new place to live by bringing its real estate services to Apple TV. In addition, the Zillow Group company has refreshed its signature iOS app, it announced Wednesday.

Trulia says in a new blog post that its Apple TV offering is focused on delivering a highly visual browsing experience. The bigger your TV, the bigger those pictures of dream kitchens and walk-in closets as home photos and video tours are core to the experience.

Apple TV users will be able to navigate listings through Trulia categories such as Safe Neighborhoods or Great Walk Score, finding properties that match their search criteria. The platform also supports dictation that allows home shoppers to use voice commands while looking for listings.

Video walkthroughs have become a compelling addition to listings through Trulia’s Premier Agent app and seeing this content on the big screen can offer a more realistic feel for the flow of a home.

Finally, Trulia on Apple TV brings Apple Maps into the equation, allowing greater insights into neighborhood information such as local schools or crime information.
