Instagrammers with a passion for travel and adventure have six far-flung destinations to choose from if they apply for assignments being offered by Portland-based The Clymb.

The outdoor gear and adventure company is teaming with DreamJobbing in search of photographers who want to boost their portfolios and think they have what it takes to document The Clymb’s trips to Peru, Ecuador (Galapagos), Nepal, Antarctica, Tanzania, and Alaska.

Applicants are asked to showcase their Instagram abilities and their passion for the positions being advertised with a video cover letter that is 60 seconds or less. Applicants can apply for one assignment or all six until June 22.

The description for the Ecuador assignment, for example, spells out what will be expected of the “chief Instagrammer”:

Your job is to tell the story of the incredible culture, adventure, geography, natural landscape and history this destination has to offer.

You will hike, mountain bike, and raft through Andean mountains and lush tropical jungles. Journey to the Galapagos Islands, the world’s most fascinating archipelago. Experience stunning landscapes filled with active volcanoes, hot springs, waterfalls, and exotic wildlife.

The selected candidate will be in charge of telling the story of Ecuador through photos and blogs. You will take over The Clymb’s social media feeds sharing your experience with the global online community.

Michelle Linton, director of travel adventure for The Clymb, says in a video describing the jobs, that the company’s travel experts “uncover the world’s most epic adventure packages and then partner with local tour operators to offer the experiences at amazing discounts.”

The Clymb, named one of Outside Magazine’s Best Places to work for two consecutive years, was founded in 2009 with a mission to “increase the wellbeing of the planet and its inhabitants by inspiring human powered adventure.”

DreamJobbing is an “opportunity platform offering the coolest jobs and experiences in the world” founded in 2014 by three entertainment industry veterans.
