T-Mobile will open its brand new Las Vegas music and sports venue on April 7 with a concert featuring pop stars Nicki Minaj and special guest Ariana Grande, the Bellevue, Wash.-based wireless carrier announced Thursday.
The 20,000-seat T-Mobile Arena, located just west of the Las Vegas Strip, “will set a new standard for what entertainment means in the city that does it best,” the company said in a news release.
T-Mobile customers will have VIP access to a special ticket pre-sale starting Friday at 10 a.m. and running through Sunday. Tickets will be available to the general public starting Monday at 10 a.m. PT.
“What better way to open this amazing arena than with TWO amazing artists — Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande — and a few thousand customers and friends?” John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile, said in a release. “We un-leashed music and entertainment on your smartphone. Now, we’re taking that to the next level with T-Mobile Arena where T-Mobile customers get all the perks and can experience music and entertainment up close and in person!”
