Sprint has upped the ante in its competition with T-Mobile, announcing an option to add HD video, music and gaming to its unlimited data plan for $20 a month — $5 less than T-Mobile charges for its HD video add-on.

Last week, both T-Mobile and Sprint unveiled unlimited data plans —on the same day — intensifying the feud between the third and fourth largest wireless companies in the U.S. Sprint’s previously announced Unlimited Freedom plan includes unlimited talk, text and data for $60 a month for the first line, $40 a month for a second line, and $30 a month for lines 3-to-10.

Sprint is offering the HD add-on for free through the end of October for customers who sign up for the Unlimited Freedom Plan.

T-Mobile’s unlimited plan costs $70 a month for a single line, and there is a $25 add-on for HD video. The second line costs $50 per month, and all additional lines up to a total of eight cost $20 per month, if the customer has auto-pay enabled.

Both plans average out to $40 per line per month for a family of four.

Following the announcement of both companies’ unlimited plans last week T-Mobile CEO John Legere and Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure sniped at each other on social media and in interviews with CNBC. Legere did not address Sprint’s announcement on social media Friday morning. Claure has been promoting the Sprint’s premium plan on Twitter.
