There is no shortage of video game companies trying to get attention at PAX West this weekend. Wargaming.net took their marketing promotion to a new level this year, bringing in Seahawks players Richard Sherman and Bobby Wagner to crush a bunch of stuff using an actual Panzer III tank to promote their game World of Tanks Blitz.

Sherman and Wagner tossed out t-shirts and got to crush a number of items in front of a big crowd of 12’s egging them on with chants of “SEA” and “HAWKS”. Included in their path of destruction were a drum set, a couple toilets and helmets from their arch-rival teams the Cardinals, 49ers and Patriots.

Asked about the experience, both Richard Sherman and Bobby Wagner concurred. Crushing a toilet using a tank was something special. Check out the mayhem and hear more from the Hawks stars in the following video.

Sherman and Wagner are no strangers to video games and PAX. Wagner appeared at last year’s PAX show for some Madden competition with Earl Thomas and Sherman helped Microsoft launch Halo 4 a few years back.

Cyprus-based Wargaming closed down its Bellevue subsidiary WG Cells last month, but still maintains a technology development office in Kirkland and Wargaming Seattle Studios based in Redmond.
