Seattle-based real estate brokerage Redfin is on the move.
The company announced Tuesday that it had signed a lease to occupy four floors and 112,000 square feet of Hill7 at 1099 Stewart St. in Seattle’s Denny Triangle neighborhood. That’s more than twice the company’s current space in Market Place Tower, where Redfin occupies 47,000 square feet.
“Redfin needed more space for our software engineers and real estate agents to work together because both teams are growing so quickly,” Eric Hollenbeck, director of IT, office development and customer service, said in a news release. “Hill7 is a great fit for what we value — lots of collaborative space and natural light, walkability and access to public transportation.”
A finalist for Geekiest Office Space at the 2016 GeekWire Awards, Redfin is currently located near Pike Place Market on First Avenue. The move to Hill7 will occur in the first quarter of 2017.
