There was a time when being Commander in Chief demanded a certain dignity. When the leader of the free world wasn’t expected to make like a Kardashian or have a perfect Instagram face.
President Obama misses that time. Speaking at an event in Illinois, he told the crowd to stop sticking their cameras in his face.
“If we had smartphones when I ran for president, I’m not sure I would have run,” he said. “We’re not taking selfies but I do want to shake as many hands as possible.”
