Growing up on Facebook, or as the daughter of the guy who created Facebook, is likely to lead to a unique and public life for Mark Zuckerberg’s little girl, Max. Max’s daddy demonstrated that on Friday when he posted a short video capturing Max’s first steps.
“When I was a baby and took my first steps, my mom wrote the date in a baby book,” Zuckerberg wrote. “When my sister’s children took their first steps, she recorded it with photos and videos. When Max started walking, I wanted to capture the whole scene with a 360 video so our friends and family can feel like they’re right there with us. Here it is!”
In the video, Zuckerberg is seen crouching in front of the camera as he waits for 1-year-old Max to walk toward him. Max’s mom, Priscilla Chan, does not make an appearance in the video, but the family dog, Beast, beats the little girl to her waiting dad.
“That’s a 360-video camera,” Zuckerberg says to Max as she’s off camera. “This is modern walking.”
Spinning around and checking out the scene (below) is a cool way to get a look at Zuck’s world. Probably not too different from any other new parent.
As her dad asks for a hug, little Max makes her way to Zuckerberg’s waiting arms. “Oh, yaaaayyyy!” he says.
