Will the real Dan Goldstein please stand up?
Because a man by the same name is sick and tired of the confusion. The Dan Goldstein in question is a principal researcher for Microsoft, not to be confused with a man who allegedly harassed Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner on a JetBlue flight this morning.
Here’s what went down: The decidedly more political of the Goldsteins and his husband, Matt Lasner, spotted the future first daughter and her husband on an airplane. He had a few choice words for the controversial couple, according to a series of deleted tweets spotted by The Daily Mail.
JetBlue escorted the two of them off the plane and issued a statement confirming the incident.
Meanwhile, Microsoft’s Goldstein suddenly had to confront a lot of unwanted online attention. So much that he changed his name on Twitter to “Not JetBlue Person,” updated his bio to say “Not connected to JetBlue story,” and pinned the following tweet to the top of his feed:
I'm not the Dan Goldstein connected to the JetBlue story

It’s an unfortunate, but increasingly common, mix up for the digital age — one that we hope dies down soon for every Goldstein’s sake.
